FOLI’s oversized, punchy form provides ample surface area to soak up noise where it starts: Above tables full of lively discussion, cutlery, moving chairs and cheerful laughter. Less distracting background noise offers dining clients more intimate moments of relaxation and enjoyment, for a better dining experience where the whole space is acoustically calmer.
The versatile design can be dressed up or down from a casual dining setting through to decadent cocktail venues. The sleek, slim profile can adapt to either hang as a low pendant, or sit in a tessellated group close to the ceiling.
Derived from bold 70s geometries, FOLI gives dimension and texture to the space around it. The organic bending and pressing of our new acoustic pendant light creates a profile of sweeping curves which serve to create comfort and calm. Four leaves radiate from the centre to hang gently in mid-air, giving bold personality to a space.
At Acustico Lighting, we are committed to continually improving our sustainability, as we know it is important to our customers. Some steps we take:
- Using Global GreenTag Certified Level A acoustic materials
- Production waste is minimised by efficient nesting of materials
- At the end of product lifecycle, aluminium is recycled and foam upcycled.
- We support clean waterways by donating a percentage of profits to the ReSea Project, who remove plastic waste from our oceans and rivers.
Each piece is handcrafted in Melbourne using a variety of specialist techniques and materials. By keeping manufacturing local, transport emissions are reduced and quality can be tightly controlled to ensure our high standards are always reached.

The entire Acustico Lighting range by Studio Acustico is designed to promote purposeful living. We believe in creating experiences of sensory serenity through sound, texture, materials, form and space.
Memories are made of what we least expect: The sound of a room, the unexplainable scent of an object or the touch of a material. Such small sensations can spark deep memories, reminding us of home or a place that makes us feel comfort. In creating spaces that make us feel comfortable and connected, the people and things around us become important and meaningful.
